$500,000 home with a participating broker for 6%
commission*. The 6% is usually split between the listing broker and
the selling broker. That means your broker will receive 3% of $500,000.
That would be $15,000. Your Rebate of $3000 will be credited to you at the
close of Escrow.
If your are buying a home through a participating broker,
the same calculation applies.
If you are refinancing your current home, the Appraiser will be
paid by you at the time of the appraisal. The amount paid (up to a maximum
of $500), will be credited to you at the close of Escrow |
